Calora Lake is a location found in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.

Breath of the Wild

Calora Lake is found to the northeast of Lake Floria and is one of the bodies of water that make up the region. There are perpetual thunderstorms around the Lake, which will remain that way until the A Song of Storms shrine quest is complete and the Qukah Nata Shrine is revealed. Given the perpetual thunderstorm, Calora Lake is very difficult to reach from the south unless Link has Revali's Gale.

Water from the lake flows down a waterfall into a lower elevation where Link will encounter some Water Octoroks. Throughout the lake, both above and below the waterfall, there are some Hyrule Bass, as well as some Hearty Bass. Hidden behind the waterfall, about halfway down, is a small ledge with a treasure chest. Inside there is a powerful Thunderstorm Rod.

In the center of the lake there is a metal block. Link can grab it with Magnesis and if its place in the proper location just north of the lake, Link will collect a Korok Seed.

Kass can be found playing his accordion near the lake. When spoken to, this will begin the A Song of Storms shrine quest. The objective is to cause lightning to strike the mound located just south of the lake. This can be done by placing a metallic sword, shield, or bow on the mound, causing lightening to strike it. Alternatively, Link can use Urbosa's Fury. Successfully doing so causes the mound to blow up, revealing the Qukah Nata Shrine and completing the quest.

Nearby Korok Seeds

Solve the Magnesis block puzzle. The block you need is in the lake.

Use Cryonis and Magnesis to get the block in the lake, then solve the puzzle.

Remove two Hearty Durian from the western tree so that all three trees match.

The western tree has too many Hearty Durian, remove the extras so it matches.

Tears of the Kingdom
