The Sacred Flames are symbols of the goddess in Skyward Sword. There is a total of three throughout the game, one for each of the three Golden Goddesses: Din, Nayru, and Farore. They can empower the Goddess Sword and change its form. Link must find all three before he can defeat the Demon King.
Farore's Flame
- Main article: Farore's Flame
Farore's Flame is hidden in the Ancient Cistern, where it is guarded by the Ancient Automoton Koloktos. It upgrades the Goddess Sword into the Goddess Longsword, extending the blade to give Link a wider range.
Nayru's Flame

Nayru's flame is protected aboard the Sandship by a crew of robots. However, the ship is guarded by an invisibility booster and attacked by the Abysmal Leviathan, Tentalus. Nayru's Flame creates the Goddess White Sword and allows for more dowsing targets.
