Summer is one of the four seasons featured in the Legend of Zelda Series. The Summer season is featured in two Legend of Zelda titles and it usually characterized by its warmer weather.

Oracle of Seasons

In Oracle of Seasons, the four seasons have been thrown in chaos by General Onox and the Temple of Seasons has fallen into Subrosia. Several regions throughout the land of Holodrum will have Summer as its default season. During Summer, the warm weather will cause Vines to grow along walls, allowing Link to reach previously unreachable ledges.

Additionally, Summer is usually when the water of some lakes and rivers will recede. This often times allows Link to reach the sea floor, accessing secret underwater caves and pathways.

The Samasa Desert, Mt. Cucco, and Sunken City both have Summer as its primary season. Parts of the Woods of Winter will have Summer as its primary season.

Twilight Princess

The four seasons rotate every time Link visits the Fishing Hole. The summer season is best for catching fish. The rarer types of fish become easier to catch during the summer, and it is the only season when Link can catch the Hylian Loach.
