The Shield of the Mind's Eye is a shield found in Breath of the Wild, Age of Calamity and Tears of the Kingdom.
Breath of the Wild
The Shield of the Mind's Eye is wooden in design, and has a defense of 16.
This shield is among the fastest shields in the game for shield surfing due to its high friction reduction rate (75%), so it can even surf in rocky terrain. It's also one of the most readily available shields with said features, the caveat being its low durability.
As having a shield is one of the conditions to clear Ta'loh Naeg Shrine, a Shield of the Mind's Eye is provided to Link inside the shrine alongside an Eightfold Blade.
