— In-Game Description

Monster Curry is a piece of food in Breath of the Wild, Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, and Tears of the Kingdom.

Breath of the Wild

Monster Curry can be made in a lit Cooking Pot from Monster Extract, Hylian Rice and Goron Spice. Adding ingredients with stat-boosting effects may create variants with those effects - for instance, using a Hearty Durian, Hearty Truffle, Big Hearty Truffle, Hearty Radish, Big Hearty Radish, Hearty Blueshell Snail, Hearty Bass or Hearty Salmon in addition to the basic ingredients would create Hearty Monster Curry.

If ingredients carrying multiple different effects are added, they will cancel out and leave the result as plain Monster Curry. There is no benefit to cancelling out effects in this manner.

Note that Monster Extract randomises the effect duration, and effect tier from dishes it is added to, along with the number of hearts recovered, so the results of the cooked dish can be unpredictable.

Age of Calamity

The recipe for Monster Curry is obtained by completing the Chapter 7 scenario The Future of Hyrule, the last story scenario. Cooking it before a scenario will raise the stats of a player character by 15% for the duration, except for maximum health which will fall by a quarter.
