"A magical rod that can hurl three balls of electricity at once. Its gem contains electricity from the Hyrule Hills, and the rod will break when that electricity runs out."
The Thunderstorm Rod is an elemental rod found in Breath of the Wild.
Breath of the Wild
Thunderstorm Rods have a base melee power of 10, but their main purpose is to cast powerful balls of electricity which have the ability to shock enemies. It is an upgraded version of the Lightning Rod, with a higher damage output and the ability to cast three balls of electricity at any given time, which are similar to those cast by Thunderblight Ganon.
These rods, like all rods dropped by Wizzrobes, are non-metallic and cannot attract lightning.
