Red Chu Jelly is a type of spoil found in The Wind Waker and Twilight Princess. They are one of the many variants of Chu Jelly. They are dropped by defeating a Red ChuChu or Red Chu.
The Wind Waker
Whenever Link encounters a Red ChuChu, he can use a Grappling Hook on the enemy to steal a Green Chu Jelly. Red ChuChu appear abbundantly at Pawprint Isle and the Forest Haven. Link can find the Chu Jellies he has collected in the Spoils Bag.
Link can take these Jellies to the Chu Jelly Juice Shop on Windfall Island where Doc Bandam makes them into Red Potion. Link can bring 5 Red Chu Jelly into the shop to earn a free potion.
Twilight Princess
In Twilight Princess, Red Chu appear occasionally throughout the quest, found within the Lakebed Temple, Snowpeak Ruins, City in the Sky, and Hyrule Castle. When Link defeats a Red Chu, it leaves behind a small pool a goo, which Link can swipe up with a Bottle to capture some Red Chu Jelly.
Red Chu Jelly works nearly identical as the Red Potion, restoring 8-hearts to Link's health.
