East Hyrule Castle

East Hyrule Castle is a location in Breath of the Wild.

Breath of the Wild

East Hyrule Castle is an island across the Hyrule Castle Moat, just east of Hyrule Castle. The island is surrounded by water on all sides, with the Hyrule Castle Moat found to the north, south, and west, and the Hylia River to the east. The Boneyard Bridge to the south connects with the road that leads to the Hyrule Castle Town Ruins, where as the Helmhead Bridge to the north leads towards the Woodland Stable. The Hyrule Forest Park can be found at the west side of the island, closer to the castle.

It is a rather dangerous area to be as there are a pair of Guardian Stalkers on the island, as well as a Guardian Skywatcher to the northwest. Additionally, at nighttime a Stalnox will appear near the center of the area. After it is defeated, the Stalnox will drop a Flamespear, Giant Boomerang, and a Royal Broadsword.

At the west side of the island, there is a fountain where the actual park is located. Link can lift the rock on top to get a Korok Seed. Just north of the fountain, there is a small hill with a treasure chest on top that contains five Shock Arrows. Another small hill to the west of there has some boulders that can be blown up. Inside, Link will find a treasure chest with a Phrenic Bow.

On the east side of the pathway, there is a large tree with an Acorn. Link can shoot the acorn to get the Korok to appear. There is one more Korok on the island, found at the very far northeast end. It is a metal block puzzle with the missing piece found on the east side of the Hylia River. Grab it and place it in one of the holes at the third row from the top to get the seed.
