The Woods of Winter are a location in Oracle of Seasons. It is located east of Eyeglass Lake and South of Sunken City. Despite it's name the default season of the Woods of Winter is Autumn, thanks to Onox. But after Link obtains the Rod of Seasons he will be able to make the season change to Winter, this will freeze all the water in the area, allowing Link more access to the Woods of Winter.
It is in the Woods of Winter where Link first meets Rosa, and finds the first portal to Subrosia. It is also where Link will find second dungeon, Snake's Remains. Unfortunately the entrance becomes blocked when the season is changed to winter so Link must use a Shovel to get rid of the snow.
Items
The Woods of Winter contain three items, the Mystery Seeds, and the Shovel. The Mystery Seeds are located below the area leading to the second dungeon, the Shovel can be obtained from a lady in a house, located at the Northeast corner of the woods, and the Piece of Heart can be found at Southeast corner of the woods, it can only be obtained after getting the Power Bracelet.
