The Statue of the Goddess is the massive statue that can be found watching over Skyloft. The statue is intended to resemble the Goddess Hylia, the deity that fought off the Demon Tribe along with several others races that were assisting. This statue has a significant role throughout the story, from beginning to end. After the Wing Ceremony, Zelda gives the Sailcloth to Link here. Link also first receives the Goddess Sword from Inside the Statue of the Goddess, in addition to having his first encounter with Fi.
