Ploymus Mountain is a location found in Breath of the Wild.

Breath of the Wild

The main attraction of Ploymus Mountain is the Red-Maned Lynel that patrols the area. The Lynel here wields a Lynel Sword, Lynel Shield, and Lynel Bow, while also shooting Shock Arrows towards Link. In the surrounding area, there are a ton of Shock Arrows that Link can pick, with some found on the ground, but others attached to many of the tree trunks in the area.

Further up the Mountain, Link will find Shatterback Point, one of the highest peaks of the region. From here, the mountain looks down to the East Reservoir Lake and the Divine Beast Vah Ruta.

Just north of the mountain, there are some breakable boulders along the cliffside. Link can blow them up to find a small rock that has a Korok underneath it.

Divine Beast Vah Ruta (Main Quest)

Main article: Divine Beast Vah Ruta (Main Quest)

As part of the Divine Beast Vah Ruta (Main Quest), many of the citizens of Zora's Domain will speak about the Lynel found atop of Ploymus Mountain. Muzu will instructs Link that the Lynel here will shoot Shock Arrows out at him, which are fatal for a Zora. Muzu instructs Link to visit Ploymus Mountain to find at least 20 Shock Arrows, which are needed to appease Divine Beast Vah Ruta.[1][2][3] If Link already has 20 Shock Arrows before speaking with Muzu, he can skip the entire quest of having to climb up to Ploymus Mountain. Instead, he can travel directly to the East Reservoir Lake to try and appease the Divine Beast.

The top of Ploymous Mountain has been extensively remodelled, and now hosts Mipha Court and Mipha Point, the latter of which holds the statue of Mipha previously present within Zora's Domain.
