Eastern Palace

Before you start you adventure you wake up in your home with Gulley waking you stating that you are late for work and the Blacksmith will be angry with you so he rushes you to go to the Blacksmith house follow him from screen to screen.

Once you make it to the home enter the house in here you meet the Blacksmith, Captain, Craftsman, and the Blacksmith's Wife, you read through the conversations and then the Captain leaves but the Blacksmith just remembered that he left his sword behind so he gives you the sword to deliver instead of lecturing you on why you were late so now you must deliver it to Hyrule Castle.

Once you reach the Castle speak to the Hyrule Soldier he will inform you that you the Captain is at the Sanctuary so now he puts the destination on your map so now its time to head over to the Sanctuary but before you can enter you see two people outside. Seres and Dampe but before you could finish your conversation Seres screams and the door slams shut so now Dampe tells you, you have to use your sword to to defend yourself and save Seres. Also Dampe informs you a secret way to enter the Sanctuary through one of the graves.

Once you push the grace up it will move revealing a passage head through it now you are in this dark area with no light head up a bit and you will spot a treasure chest. Open the chest and you will receive a Lamp.

Now before proceeding you must light the two stands that need torches now head through the door. Now you are in a room with rats and a few stands where you can light them with the torch. Also there is a chest containing a Red Rupee. Toward the end of this room is a locked door that you need a Key to open it. Head to the right without falling off and you will find yet another chest containing a Key to open the locked door so head back and go through the locked door.

Now you are in a room surrounded by three ghost take them out and the passage ahead will be available for you to proceed through. Now in this new room lit the stand with the torch and you will see two switches to pull head to the one on the left so the door can open, the one on the right if pulled will drop snakes into the room. Once the switch is pulled and the passage is open head through it to enter the side of the Sanctuary.

Head out and into the main room of the Sanctuary and a cutscene will start with the Priest speaking to the newest enemy in this game Yuga soon you will see Seres turned into a painting by Yuga

You awaken in your home with a new companion who will be later in the game useful matter fact needed during your adventure his name is Ravio. He found you and brought you to the house not even knowing it was your house at all but as the conversation goes on Ravio asks you if he can stay in your house for awhile but little do you know he makes your house his new store that he will rent you items then later sell them to you. Before you part Ravio will give you a bracelet which looks like nothing now but serves as a great part of your adventure.

He informs you to head to the castle and to hurry so head over to Hyrule Castle and go to see Princess Zelda. Talk to the Hyrule Soldier in front of the gate and Impa will come out and tell you to come out and listen to your message and ask you to tell this to Zelda. Enter the castle and she will ask you to wait there so while you wait for her return check out the 5 paintings on the wall and now head to Zelda and she will give you a special charm and tell you to find Sahasrahla the elder at Kakariko Village

Now exit the Castle and head to Kakariko Village just east of the castle but before entering the town enter the tent just before going into the town and she is know as the Fortune-Teller she will also give you a item know as the Hint Glasses. These glasses help you in your journey they can see [[Hint Ghosts] that give you hints on your journey which can be very helpful. Once you get the glasses head down and you are now in Kakariko Village.

Head to the Elders home or if you have 100 Rupees you can purchase your first Bottle from the merchant sitting on his carpet in the town. Well if you head to the Elders Home he will inform you about the Seven Sages and tell you that he sent his pupil Osfala to the Eastern Palace so now he marks the destination on the map.

On your way over there if you haven't saved your game you can see a little cutscene of another Sage you will encounter later on in the game riding on her broomstick. But after the cutscene continue to the Eastern Palace. On the way over there you will notice you will not be able to move forward unless you have the bow and good thing we met Ravio head to him and he will give you the bow and arrow for rent for free of charge since you let him stay in your home.

NOTE: When you rent after the free rental of the bow you will be charged 50 Rupees or 100 but once you die or have the Game Over screen you will lose all rented items from Ravio and you must pay him yet again to rent that item.

Once you receive the Bow return to the area you seen with the Bow signs around them. Shoot the two switches to reveal a new path.
