Deep Gorge
Template:Location The Deep Gorge is a location that appears in Twilight Princess. It is located in the deepest part of Faron Woods, beside the Forest Temple. This acts as the only connection between Faron Woods and the Sacred Grove. It is the route Link must take to reach the Sacred Grove.
The first time Link travels here is during the Master Sword quest. Midna will act as jumping feature seen in previous sections of the game. Then Link will come across two platforms which spin depending on the wind, similar in structure to the passages in the Forest Temple. There will be a section where in wolf form he will have to cross two rope sections, only then will he arrive at the entrance to the Sacred Grove. Later on in the game, Link will have to pass through this section again. Rusl will inform Link of a mysterious temple hidden deep within the Faron Woods known as the Temple of Time.[1] This time Rusl will call upon his partner, a Golden Cucco, to assist Link in reaching his desired destination.[2][3] Before moving forward, Rusl warns the hero that this task is not simple, but rather difficult if he's not careful enough.[4] Now in human form, Link will use the Golden Cucco to traverse from platform to platform and he will have to use the Gale Boomerang to activate the now still bridges. This will enable Link to access the Sacred Grove. After this section of the game, Link will be able to teleport directly to the Sacred Grove, meaning there is no true need to access this area. In fact, Link is unable to access the Deep Gorge after that section of the game.
