Crescent Island is the home of the [[Tokay]], reptilian-like creatures that inhabit the island. These creatures seem to exclusively live on Crescent Island and are unaware of civilization outside of their island. The island gets its name from its geographical appearance in the Past. Water surrounds the island but in particular in the past, due to the elevated water level, it fills in much of the western portion of the island, creating a small bay. The rest of the island creates crescent moon shape, wrapping around this part of the water.

This statue is eventually opened, which reveal an underground cavern leading to the [[Sea of No Return]].

Story

When Link washes up at Crescent Island in the past he will be surrounded by Tokay and have his Items taken away by them. After Link has gone through the trouble of getting his items back he will then have to complete Crescent Islands' dungeon. the Moonlit Grotto. After this Link's animal friend Dimitri will be surrounded by Tokay. They will ask Link to trade an Ember Seed for Dimitri. After Link has gotten Dimitri he can leave the island.

Later later returns to Crescent Island in order to obtain the final Essence of Time. . Inserting the Tokay Eyeball into the empty eye socket of the Tokay statue reveals the entrance to a pathway leading to the Sea of No Return wherein lies the Ancient Tomb.
