A Wallet is a wallet used by Link to store Rupees in The Legend of Zelda series. It makes its first appearance in Ocarina of Time.

Appearances

Ocarina of Time

When Link is a child, he has a wallet that holds a maximum of 99 Rupees, called the Child's Wallet. Once Link has defeated 10 Gold Skulltulas and has used them to heal the first child in the House of Skulltula, he is rewarded with the Adult's Wallet, which holds up to 200 Rupees.

The second wallet Link can be rewarded with is the Giant's Wallet. Link has to defeat 30 Gold Skulltulas to heal the third child in order to receive it. The Giant Wallet holds up to 500 Rupees.

Majora's Mask

From the beginning of the game, Link has 99 Rupees to start with. When Link goes to West Clock Town and deposits 200 Rupees, he is rewarded with the Adult Wallet which can hold up to 200 Rupees. The final wallet can be found on Great Bay, in Oceanside Spider House. Link has to kill all 30 Skulltulas to be rewarded with the Giant Wallet that holds up to 500 Rupees.

The Wind Waker

At the beginning of Link's adventure, Link carries his first wallet, holding up to 200 Rupees. Link can acquire the first upgrade in his home island, Outset Island, in the forest situated on the mountain. Link is required to have a Bomb in order to blow up the boulder blocking the way to the Great Fairy Fountain. Once Link has entered, the Great Fairy gifts Link with a wallet holding up to 1,000 Rupees. The next and last upgrade can be acquired in the Northern Fairy Island. Once Link enters the Great Fairy Fountain there, the Great Fairy gifts Link with a wallet holding up to 5,000 Rupees.

Twilight Princess

While in Ordon Village, before Link goes out on his quest to Castle Town, his wallet is unamed, and holds a maximum capacity of 300 Rupees. When Link has went out to explore, he goes to Hyrule Castle Town and visits Agitha's Castle. Once Link has collected one Golden Bug and gives it to Agitha, he is rewarded with the Big Wallet, which holds up to 600 Rupees. When Link has collected every Golden Bug, he gets the final wallet, called the Giant Wallet, which can hold up to 1,000 Rupees.

Skyward Sword

In Skyward Sword, Link holds 300 Rupees at first. Almost every wallet Link receives are from Batreaux by giving him Gratitude Crystals, which is also used to break the curse from him. When Link gives Batreaux 5 Gratitude Crystals, he will receive the Medium Wallet, which gives Link the ability to store up to 500 Rupees. The third wallet Link receives is the Big Wallet, which gives Link the ability to store up to 1,000 Rupees. When Link gives Batreaux 50 Gratitude Crystals, he will receive the fourth wallet, the Giant Wallet, with the ability of storing up to 5,000 Rupees. The fifth and last wallet is the Tycoon Wallet, which gives Link the ability of storing up to a whopping 9,000 Rupees. There are also a total of three Extra Wallets in the game, which give Link the ability of storing an additional 300 Rupees for 100 Rupees in Beedle's Airshop. That makes a total of 9,900 Rupees to store in the wallet.
