The Light Spirits are deities/spirits that were called on by the goddesses to trap the dark interlopers.  Their names are [[Ordona]], [[Lanayru]], [[Eldin]] and [[Faron]].  It is suggested that [[Lanayru|La nayru ]], [[Eldin|El(din)]], and [[Faron]] are based off the goddesses [[Din]] [[Nayru]] and [[Farore]] from [[The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time|Ocarina of Time]] creation myth.  The light spirits were created/called upon to seal the [[Interlopers|Dark Interlopers]] in the [[Twilight Realm]].  The Dark Interlopers were a group of magicians that sought to control the [[Sacred Realm]] where the [[Triforce]] was sealed.  Their are many theories about the dark interlopers such as they might have created the Fused Shadows that [[Midna]] needs to reclaim her crown.  Also, that they are part of the group that is run by [[Ghirahim]].
