Climb the rock pillar and pick up the rock.

Location

Climb up to the seed platform on the wood platform high above the chasm to the east, then race to the seed.

The seed platform is very high and to the east of the chasm, so saving before you attempt is recommended so you can just load your save instead of climb up again.
