Birth of the Demon King is one of the "Tear of the Dragon" memories of Zelda found in Tears of the Kingdom.

Location

The Geoglyph is found in the North Tabantha Snowfield. The small green pond can be found at the northwest portion of the Geoglyph.

In-Game Description

"With the secret stone he took from Sonia, Ganondorf turns into the Demon King. The gloom that issues from his body creates countless monsters that howl across the world. Rauru goes to Sonia's side to help his fallen queen. Though furious at Ganondorf, he knows the Demon King is too powerful to confront at that moment. He retreats with Zelda."

Summary

While Zelda worries over Queen Sonia, Ganondorf takes the secret stone as his own and becomes the true Demon King. Under a Blood Moon, he summons an army of monsters that begin attacking the people of Hyrule. Rauru arrives, and enters a rage upon seeing Sonia's body, but is stopped by Zelda from doing anything rash. Ganondorf tries to kill him, but the attack is blocked, and Zelda teleports herself, Rauru, and Sonia to a safe location using the restored Purah Pad.
