Fronk is a character in Breath of the Wild.
Overview
Fronk is a Zora who lives in Zora's Domain with his wife Mei and two boys, Tumbo and Keye. Fronk is a carpenter and works as the apprentice to Dento.[1]
Each morning at 7am, Fronk will begin to make his way down the large staircase to the lower floor of Zora's Domain where he works. Fronk can be seen holding a hammer and chisel and makes his way up the path, just east of Mipha's statue. He spends the entire day chiseling at the small structure, repairing any damage. If Link speaks with him, Fronk will kindly ask him to get out of the way, or will apologize for being lost in thought.[2][3]
Fronk works most the day until 8pm in the evening. At that time of the day he will walk back up the staircase and head towards the back of Zora's Domain. If Link stops by chat him, he'll just say excuse me and then continue along his way.[4] Fronk eventually makes his way to the pond in the back of Zora's Domain where his two children will go to sleep. Fronk never goes to bed himself, but instead stands around pondering what has gone wrong. Something is wrong and he blames the Divine Beast Vah Ruta, but then stops and blames himself instead.[5] This is likely a response to his wife being gone from Zora's Domain at the moment.
