The Windfall Island Shop is owned by Zunari in The Wind Waker on Windfall Island. Zunari is originally from a far off land, but he was shipwrecked and everything he had was destroyed.[1] The Sail is the only item he has left, and thus he desperately wants to sell it so he can raise funds to open his shop.[2] At last, he convinces Link to buy it from him for 80 Rupees.[3]
Later, Zunari sees that Link owns a Delivery Bag and asks for a favor.[4] He explains that his store is lacking products to sell, and he asks if Link can go out and trade with the Traveling Merchants around the Great Sea to get more items.[5] Every time Link gives an item to a Traveling Merchant, they will give him a different one in exchange and form a merchant's oath.[6][7] As a result, the Traveling Merchant will ship his item to the Windfall Island Shop and Zunari can sell it.[8][9] If Link agrees, Zunari makes him his partner and gives him the Town Flower, his only product at the time, and begins the Trading Sequence.[10]
After Link rescues the girls from the Forsaken Fortress, Mila goes to work at the Windfall Island Shop.[11]
Items
As Link trades with the Traveling Merchants, Zunari's stock expands and he gains more items. All of his products, aside from the Sail, can be placed in Joy Pedestals around Windfall Island for the Joyous Volunteer Association.

- ↑ "My story is a strange one... I came across cursed seas from a land far away...a land where the blizzards blow violently...heading for this town called Windfall. But dear me! As I traveled, a terrible storm descended and tore my ship to bits...yet mysteriously, only that escaped without so much as a mark on it..." — Zunari, The Wind Waker.
- ↑ "From the looks of you, I would say you are a traveler as well. Oh, yes indeed! ...Could you not purchase that from me? It is my one and only heirloom from home. The people of this town do not seem the least bit interested in that, despite the fact that it would help them travel the dangerous seas about their town... Please! I beg of you! I wish to open a business here in this town, so I am in desperate need of finances!" — Zunari, The Wind Waker.
- ↑ "Yes, yes, yes! Thank you very much, indeed! I have received precisely 80 Rupees for it. I can use these funds to finance my new business! Oh, dear me, what a happy day!" — Zunari, The Wind Waker.
- ↑ "Yes, yes! Master! Now that I take a longer look at you, I see that you have a fine Delivery Bag, do you not? Dear me, it is a bag fit for a hero...of delivery! I have a small request, and it requires the use of that bag... A request? I'm out of here!" — Zunari, The Wind Waker.
- ↑ "My stall is a kind of general store that makes its money by obtaining rare products at inexpensive prices and then selling them. ...With a reasonable mark-up, of course. However, because I have so few products to sell, the shop remains rather...deserted. I will sell anything! I am a master of the sale! I just need to get some new products! Could you not seek out traveling merchants and negotiate supply contracts with them for me?" — Zunari, The Wind Waker.
- ↑ "No, no, no! Do not look so frightened! I say contracts, but it is just a word. You do not have to do anything very difficult. All I need for you to do is trade one of my products for a new product that the merchant has in stock. You see, among merchants, a trade is proof of a contract! That is to say, it is the merchant's oath... That is what we call it. Yes, yes." — Zunari, The Wind Waker.
- ↑ "So, by trading your goods for my goods, we have formed a merchant's oath." — Traveling Merchant, The Wind Waker.
- ↑ "Merchants that have sworn a merchant's oath will afterwards send their products to me. It is the way things work. So, as you succeed in trading my products, my product lineup will increase!" — Zunari, The Wind Waker.
- ↑ "So, from now on I shall honor our merchant's oath by sending shipments of my product to the Windfall Island Shop. How, you ask? Why, my good friend the postman will take it there for me, so it will probably get there before you do. Just go back to Windfall and check for yourself." — Traveling Merchant, The Wind Waker.
- ↑ "Yes, yes! Young master, you are now my new salesman! No, no! Scratch that! Starting today, you and I are partners! Dear me, yes! I give to you my proof of contract... In other words, this is my merchant's oath! Take it with you, my young partner!" — Zunari, The Wind Waker.
- ↑ "Just recently, my missing daughter, Mila, was returned to me. I didn't think I could ever feel more joyful... But then she went and started working at the shop to help out with our tight family finances! What a trooper! Could that girl be any more of an angel?" — Mila's Father, The Wind Waker.
