In Ocarina of Time, there are a number of locations where Link can acquire a Gold Rupee, which gives Link 200 total rupees. Below is a complete listing of all locations. Some of which Link can repeatedly acquire.
Locations
Location: Kakariko Village.
Found in the open area of Kakariko Village, just beyond the first tree. If you walk over this area, the Shard of Agony will chime, indicating a secret nearby. Drop a bomb to find an underground grotto. Inside, defeat the two ReDeads and open the treasure chest to get the gold rupee.Location: Outside of Goron City.
There are a circle of rocks on the Death Mountain Trail, just outside on Goron City. Play the Song of Storms and a grotto will appear. Inside there is a treasure chest containing a gold rupee.Location: Goron City.
When you first enter Goron City, turn left and make your way to the room at the northwest corner of the top floor. In this maze of boulders, use the Megaton Hammer to break the heavy boulders along the left side of the room. This leads to a treasure chest containing a gold rupee.Location: Lost Woods.
When you enter the Lost Woods from Kokiri Forest as an adult, take the first path to the right. Drop down below and you'll find two Skull Kids near the tree stump. Defeat them using your Master Sword and they will drop a gold rupee each. If you take awhile, or try to use a projectile attack, they will disappear. At any point if you leave the area and return, these Skull Kid's will respawn, allowing you to repeatedly get these gold rupees.Location: Lost Woods.
When you enter the Lost Woods from Kokiri Forest as an adult, take the first path to the left. After completing the initial parts of the Trading Sequence, a Skull Kid will appear near the tree stump. Defeat it using the Master Sword and it will drop a gold rupee. You can leave the Lost Woods and return here again, to repeatedly get this gold rupee.Location: Gerudo Training Ground.
