"A whole crab slow-roasted in its shell. The soft, flaky flesh pairs nicely with the scent of the charred shell for a meal that assaults all five of your senses in all the best ways."
— In-Game Description
The Blackened Crab is a type of food found in Breath of the Wild. It heals 1½ hearts.
Obtaining
In order to get it, Link has to start a fire and put any crab on it until it becomes a Blackened Crab. It cannot be obtained by cooking one crab in a Cooking Pot. An alternative method to obtain it, is to go to Death Mountain in the Eldin Region and drop a crab on the floor, and because of the temperature it will become a Blackened Crab. It can also be randomly dropped by defeating Hinoxes.
