EX Treasure: Phantasma is a Side Quest found in Breath of the Wild. It was made available as part of the The Master Trials downloadable content.

Guide

Link can stumble upon Misko's EX Journal, found in the southernmost building of the Outpost Ruins. The journal states that armor worn by fierce phantoms that were featured by heroes can be found in the ruins of Hyrule Field.[1] The book references the locations of all three items in the Phantom Set that Link can find.

Phantom Helmet

Main article: Phantom Helmet

The journal points Link towards a battleground, where brave souls tested their skill. This refers to the Coliseum Ruins, located at just north of the Great Plateau. The chest is along the northwestern wall of the ground floor. It may be a good idea to take care of the Lynel that appears here before trying to recover the treasure chest. The chest camouflages with the ground, so use Magnesis to more easily spot it.

Phantom Armor

Main article: Phantom Armor

The journal points Link towards the ceremonial grounds where royal guards are honored. This is in reference to the Sacred Ground Ruins located at the north end of Hyrule Field, just south of Hyrule Castle and the Hyrule Castle Town Ruins. The area is surrounded by dangerous Guardian Stalkers, so it may be a good idea to get rid of them first. The chest is located in the shallow pond just southeast of the ceremonial platform. Use Magnesis to more easily find the chest.

Phantom Greaves

Main article: Phantom Greaves

The journal points Link to ruins where the soldiers of Hyrule gathered. This is in reference to the Hyrule Garrison Ruins. The treasure can be found buried underneath an inactive guardian at the southeast end of the ruins. It is a bit hard to spot, so it is a good idea to use Magnesis to more easily find it.
