Death Mountain East Tunnel is a location in Tears of the Kingdom.

Tears of the Kingdom

The Death Mountain East Tunnel can be found at the northeast part of Death Mountain, within the Death Caldera. The entrance to the cave is blocked off by some Blue Sediment, so Link will need to use a rock based weapon or Bomb Flower to blast open the entrance. The cave has lava within it, which makes it very hot. Link will need to weap armor with a Flame Guard or drink a Fireproof Elixir in order to survive.

Lava prevents Link from crossing the tunnel by foot, but there is a Mine Cart and a Fan. Place the cart on the rail and fuse a fan to it. Activate the device to ride through the cave. Link can jump off the cart on the left side to find a room at the southeast part of the cave. Here the Bubbulfrog can be found. Link can get back on the rail cart and ride it to the end of the track, where an Igneo Talus can be found.

Just east of the tunnel, Link can examine the Momosik Shrine to begin The Death Caldera Crystal shrine quest. Deep inside the tunnel, there is an Igneo Talus with a green rock attached to it. After defeating the Talus, Link can take the green rock and use the Mine Cart to ride it out of the cave. Link can then carry the rock back to the shrine to complete the quest. The shrine itself is one of Rauru's Blessings and has a single chest, containing a Big Battery.
