"A bass that's been cooked whole over an open flame. It's flaky and savory smelling. Offers more hearts than the raw version."
— In-Game Description
The Roasted Bass is a type of food found in Breath of the Wild. It heals 1½ hearts.
Obtaining
In order to get it, Link has to start a fire and put a Hyrule Bass on it until it becomes a Roasted Bass. It cannot be obtained by cooking one piece of Hyrule Bass in a Cooking Pot. An alternative method to obtain it, is to go to Death Mountain in the Eldin Region and drop a piece of Hyrule Bass on the floor, and because of the temperature it will become a Roasted Bass. It can also be randomly dropped by defeating Hinoxes.
