"This magic-infused greatsword was forged by the Hyrulean royal family using lightning from the Hyrule Hills. Attack when the blade glows golden to expel lightning."
— In-Game Description
The Great Thunderblade is a two-handed elemental sword found in Breath of the Wild. It has a slow use time and has a base power of 32. It can be rarely found scattered around Hyrule, but also in various Shrine of Trials. The blade has the ability to electrocute enemies, but requires a short period of time to charge before unleashing the electric shock once more.
