Easter Eggs are curiosities developers puts throughout a game and The Legend of Zelda series has many of them.

Below is a list of known easter eggs in the Legend of Zelda games.

Link's Awakening

There are several Musical Easter Eggs unlocked by entering certain filenames such as "ZELDA".

Ocarina of Time

After passing through the Castle Courtyard in Hyrule Castle, and before meeting Zelda, the player can look through the window on the right hand side. Various paintings of Mario, Luigi, Peach, Yoshi and Bowser can be seen.

Ocarina of Time 3D

The paintings in the original version no longer appear in the Castle Courtyard, however they're replaced by a Super Mario Bros. level, complete with pipes, grass, and blocks.

There are many locations in Ocarina of Time 3D where posters of Link as he appears in Skyward Sword. Three posters can be found in-game: in Malon's room in Lon Lon Ranch, in the Thieves Hideout behind a crate, and in the [[Bomb Shop in Castle Town.

The Wind Waker

On the walls in the room where the Master Sword rests inside Hyrule Castle, There are several stained-glass windows depicting the Sages from Ocarina of Time, and one depicting Ganon.

Skyward Sword

If Link opens the cabinet inside of Zelda's room in the Knight's Academy a Tingle doll can be seen.
