The "Ballad of Gales" is a recurring song in the Zelda series.
Uses, Locations and Appearances
The Wind Waker
The Ballad of Gales is first taught to Link by the Wind Deity Cyclos. Cyclos teaches Link this melody when Link shoot Cyclos down with the bow and the arrows. This melody allows Link to warp to the following locations in the Great Sea.
- Mother & Child Isles
This melody is required in order to beat the games, as you will need it to get the fire arrow and the ice arrow.
Twilight Princess
This tune appears yet again in Twilight Princess, as the fifth son you must howl in order to summon the Golden Wolf and get the hidden skill.
