Rahdo is a character from Tears of the Kingdom.
Tears of the Kingdom
Rahdo can be found on top of Mount Granajh where he can be seen next to a campe fire wearing no clothes at all. The extreme temperatures of the region don't seem to bother him. He describes himself as the many who withstands, and he who endures. He challenges Link to a contest and asks if he'd be willing to put 50 Rupees on the line.[1] Link can return at any point to challenge Rahdo as he is always waiting for the next challenge.[2][3]
Cold-Endurance Contest!

Link can accept Rahdo's challenge, which begins the Cold-Endurance Contest! quest. Link will need to stand on top of one of the nearby pillars from evening until dawn, enduring the cold weather. He is however, not allowed to wear any clothing, other than his underpants.[4] Rahdo gives Link an oppurtunity to get ready and then once he pays the 50 rupees, the contest can begin.[5][6][7][8]
Time will pass and Link will next appear on top of the pillar at sunset, wearing only his underpants. This will begin the endurance contest.[9] To win the contest, Link can consume some food or elixirs that gives him Cold Resistance. The elixir will need to last at least 7-minutes, or 7-hours of in-game time. Alternatively, if Link is a weapon that has a flame element to it, such as a weapon fused with a Ruby or Igneo Talus Heart, it will keep Link warm. Lastly, Link can carefully drop some Wood and Flint and create a fire, which allows him to survive the night.
At 4:30am, Rahdo will finally give in and fall to the ground.[10] Rahdo will then reward Link with a Silver Rupee.[11] This will complete the quest, but not before Rahdo challenges Link to another contest of endurance, this time in the blazing hot sun.[12]
Heat-Endurance Contest!

After completing the Cold-Endurance Contest!, Link can speak with Rahdo again, this time challenging him to a Cold-Endurance Contest![13] The rules for this contest are nearly identical as the cold-endurance contest from before, except it is a bit more costly to challenge Rahdo. It will cost 150 Rupees to accept his challenge.[14] Rahdo will give Link an oppurtunity to prepare, but once he's ready, he'll take the rupees and the competition will begin.[15][16][17]
The endurance competition begins at 8:30am when the sun begins to rise overheard.[18] At this point, Link will need to eat a meal or drink an elixir that gives him Heat Resistance. Alternatively, Link can hold a weapon that use an ice-based attack, such as a weapon fused with a Frost Talus Heart. Alternatively, Link can attach a nearby Stone Slab to a Stake, that surrounds the pillar he is standing on. Then Link can attach the stake he's standing on so that it shields Link from the sun.
At 4:30pm, Rahdo will collapse to the ground from the heat.[19] As a reward for winning, Link will be awarded a Gold Rupee, netting him a 150 rupee gain from the contest.[20] Rahdo will mention that he needs to train more, commenting that he'll be venture far to the north.[21] This will complete the quest and Rahdo will leave the area.
