King Dorephan is a character in Breath of the Wild. He is the King of the Zora and reigns over Zora's Domain. He is the father of Mipha and Sidon.
Overview
Link first encounters Dorephan after Sidon, his son, guides him to Zora's Domain, as the Zoras are in need of a Hylian to help stop the Divine Beast Vah Ruta. Dorephan is rather friendly and pleased to see Link, especially after learning that he is the same Link who was friends with his daughter Mipha 100 years ago. He gifts Link the Zora Armor, which was handcrafted by Mipha before the Calamity struck.
Trivia
- The scar on King Dorephan's head came about after a fight with a Lynel[citation needed].
