Talk to the Stalchildren

The Captain's Hat is one of the twenty four Masks from Majora's Mask.

In Ikana Graveyard, Link finds Captain Keeta in his dormant state. To awaken him, Link must play the Sonata of Awakening, which causes Captain Keeta to awaken and challenge Link to a battle. After Link completes the challenge, Captain Keeta rewards him with the Captain's Hat. With the Captain's Hat, Link can be mistaken for Captain Keeta by the Stalchildren, which allows him to talk to and be respected by them.[1][2]

ReDeads become non-hostile and dance on the spot if Link is wearing the Captain's Hat.
