Baba Buds are flower petals that Link can jump into in The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. They will shoot Link high into the air, so that he can reach great heights using the Deku Leaf. In some occasions, Link must defeat the Boko Baba in order for the Baba Bud to be available.
The first time Link encounters Baba Buds is in the Forest Haven, where he must use them to obtain the Deku Leaf that the Deku Tree gifts him with. There are also Baba Buds located in the Forbidden Woods.
