Armored Stalfos or Parutamu are stronger versions of Stalfos skeleton warriors. In The Adventure of Link, Link encounters Armored Stalfos beginning in the Island Palace. Their behavior is generally identical to their Stalfos counterparts though they take more damage to kill and hit harder with their swords. Unlike Iron Knuckles or Lizalfos, they cannot move their shields. Link must quickly squat and slash his sword to deal damage.
Red Armored Stalfos
Red Armored Stalfos charge Link and swing their swords at close range. When defeated, they yield 50 experience.
Blue Armored Stalfos
