Anly is a character in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.

Breath of the Wild

Anly runs the Lakeside Stable, found just west of Lake Floria in Faron. He runs both the Stable and the Inn. When talking to Anly from outside, Link can take a horse, board a horse, or register a new horse.[1] From the inside of the stable, Link can talk to Anly to rent out a bed. Anly offers two types of beds, a regular bed for 20 rupees, and a Soft Bed for 40 rupees.[2]

Tears of the Kingdom

Anly runs the stable over at Lakeside Stable. When Link first arrives, Anly informs Link that the stable receives orders directly from Princess Zelda herself. At her direction, the stable opened up a sanctuary for a new animal species, right across the ravine. He mentions that visitors can't easily reach it, but with a telescope, they can get a glimpse of the animal species.[3]

The first time Link arrives at the stable, Anly will award Link with a Pony Point.[4] He'll offer to help out, asking Link if he wants to register a horse, or if he wants to take one out for a ride.[5]

Anly comments that it is almost constantly raining near the stable, but it does occasionally let up. When it's raining, the well that is just behind the stable is too full to go inside, but when things calm down, the water subsides and Anly can give it a good scrub.[6]

A Picture for Lakeside Stable

Main article: A Picture for Lakeside Stable

After completing one of the Regional Phenomena, as well as acquiring the Camera as part of the Camera Work in the Depths quest, Link can examine the empty picture frame on the wall in the stable. Anly will mention that The Stable Association asked them to hang the signs up to get ready for paintings to be put up.[7]

Anly wants to get a picture of Floria Falls. He mentinos that the best place to get a picture is from the Floria Bridge, but because it is almost always raining, it's rare to see it on a clear day. He would take the picture himself, but he can't leave the stable unattended. He tasks Link with bringing him a picture so that he can paint a copy.[8] This will begin the A Picture for Lakeside Stable quest.
