Blue Darknuts are recurring enemies in The Legend of Zelda series.[1] They are one of many Darknut variants found throughout the Zelda series, first appearing in The Legend of Zelda. Blue Darknuts are stronger than their Red Darknut counterparts.
The Legend of Zelda
In The Legend of Zelda, Blue Darknuts are some of the most challenging enemies in the game, appearing in Level 5: The Lizard and Level 8: The Lion, as well as various dungeons in the Second Quest.
Darknuts wield a shield, making them invulnerable from frontal attacks. Instead, Link will need to strike the Darknut from behind, or from its side. Bombs are also an effective weapon against Blue Darknuts. While they are identical to their Red Darknut counterparts, Blue Darknuts have more health.
