Death Mountain is a subregion of the Mountain region in Cadence of Hyrule. Death Mountain appears at the top of the map in a 1x2 area.

In order to navigate Death Mountain, the player must first visit the Windmill and get the Down Thrust.

Points of Interest

Death Mountain is home to several points of interest. Notably:

  • Cadence Cave: directly across from the entrance to Death Mountain. Cadence will tell the player that the Windmill at the base of the mountains has an item to cross the river.
  • Small Fairy Fountain: behind the waterfall, the entrance is blocked by an Armos.
  • Crypt: on a cliff across the first river. Use the Down Thrust to jump across the Green Zols or use the Cane of Somaria and follow up with a Down Thrust. With the Hookshot, the player does not have to use the Down Thrust.
  • Shop: south of the Temple of Storms, beneath an Armos.
  • Temple of Storms: far end of Death Mountain, normal progression through this area leads the player to the temple.

Trivia

  • Death Mountain and Gerudo Desert both have fixed generation points. Death Mountain only appears in the top row of the map.
