Stalchildren are presumably younger Stalfos that appear in most of the 3D console Zelda games. They are not much a threat alone, but can be a nuisance to Link when they attack in groups, as they usually do.

Stalchildren haunt the nights of Hyrule Field when Link is a child in Ocarina of Time. They attack by swinging small punches at Link. A bigger one will appear after a while. They, especially the giant ones, will drop many Rupees behind, which is a good source of them.

In Majora's Mask, Stalchildren are found in Ikana Graveyard and the Oceanside Spider House. They attack equivalent to what they do in Ocarina of Time. They can be spoken and given orders to with the Captain's Hat.
