Octorok Lake

Octorok Lake is a location in Tears of the Kingdom.

Tears of the Kingdom

Octorok Lake is a body of water found along the path that connects South Akkala Stable and East Akkala Stable. It is a shallow lake that Link can walk in without having to swim. There is no water-life in the lake itself. When it is raining, the lake will fill up so it's covered with water, and it will dry out a bit when it stops raining, revealing small patches of land.

West of the Lake, near the path, Addison can be found holding up a Hudson Sign. Link can use the nearby Hyrule Restoration Materials to hold up the sign. As a reward, Addison will give Link a Red Rupee, some Hasty Mushroom Rice Balls, and a Puffshroom.

A Picture for East Akkala Stable

Main article: A Picture for East Akkala Stable

As part of the A Picture for East Akkala Stable quest, Link will need to take a picture of Octorok Lake, while it is raining. When standing up on the hill and looking at the lake, Link can take a picture of an Octorok-shaped Octorok Lake. After showing the picture to Rudi at East Akkala Stable, he will paint a portrait of it on the canvas at the stable, completing the quest.

Korok Seed

  • In the center of the lake, there is a pile of leaves. Slash the leaves and lift the rock to get a Korok Seed.
