The Yellow Rupee is a variation of the standard Rupee, which are the unit of currency in the Zelda Universe, which includes Hyrule, Termina, Koholint Island, Great Sea, Labrynna, Holodrum, World of the Ocean King, New Hyrule, and Skyloft. The Yellow Rupee's worth and rarity has changed throughout the games it has been features in. The Yellow Rupee appears in: Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, The Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, Phantom Hourglass, Spirit Tracks, and Skyward Sword.

Appearances and Worth

Ocarina of Time

The yellow rupee is the most valuable Rupee in Ocarina of Time as it is worth 200 Rupees. One of the ways you can acquire the yellow Rupee is by completing the Gold Skulltula Quest and then going to the Skulltula House in Kakariko Village. Once you are inside talk to the Skulltula at the front and he will give you a yellow rupee. He will do this every time you talk to him from then on.

Majora's Mask

In Majora's Mask, the yellow rupee is worth 200 Rupees and is the most valuable rupee in the game and hence it is very rare.

The Wind Waker

The yellow Rupee in The Wind Waker is only 10 Rupees worth and is the third most valuable Rupee in the game and it is fairly common.

Twilight Princess

In Twilight Princess, the yellow Rupee is worth 10 Rupees making it to the third most valuable Rupee in the game and it is fairly common.

Phantom Hourglass

The yellow Rupee is worth 300 Rupees in Phantom Hourglass and is the most valuable Rupee in the game. It is therefore very rare and not seen often in the game.

Spirit Tracks

The yellow Rupee in Spirit Tracks is worth the same amount as Phantom Hourglass and has the same rarity.

Skyward Sword

In Skyward Sword, the yellow Rupee is worth 300 Rupees and is very uncommon.
