The Wooden Sword is the first sword you get in two games of The Legend of Zelda (Series). Because of that, it is the weakest sword. It is normally the fist item you get in the game. It has appeared in the The Legend of Zelda (Game), and The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

The Legend of Zelda
The Wooden Sword is the first item available for Link to collect. While it is optional, if you don't pick it up the game becomes considerably more challenging. On the starting screen, there is a small cave. Inside the Old Man will say the legendary line, It is dangerous to go alone. Take this!. He will then give Link the Wooden Sword. Later in the game, it can be upgraded to the White Sword.
