Placing the Basics

Placing the Basics is one of the Chamber Dungeons found in Link's Awakening.

Overview

Placing the Basics is the second Chamber Dungeon unlocked in the game. It one of four of the 'Level 1' Chambers.

The chamber dungeon is unlocked after Link completes Dungeon Arranging 101. It is a very introductary chamber with an open layout. Link will need to place at least one room that has a locked door, along with two rooms that have treasure chests. If Link has most of the Chamber Stones, he can complete this dungeon by using only five chambers.

Link will earn a Chamber Stone for arranging and then completing the dungeon. Additionally, it is part of what unlock the Level 1 dungeon, A Passage Across. To fully unlock the dungeon, Link will also need to complete Key Cavern.
