The Parry Attack is a defensive attack first found in The Wind Waker.

The Wind Waker

In The Wind Waker, the parry attack is one of the many sword techniques taught to Link by Orca during the Sword Training. It is the fifth sword attack learned and it is performed by targeting an enemy using 'ZL', and waiting for your enemy to attack. Once the enemy attacks, quickly press 'A' to attack.[1]
