Nell is a character from Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.

Breath of the Wild

Nell can be found south of Akkala Citadel Ruins, fighting a Blue Moblin. When the monster is defeated, he thanks Link for his help and rewards him with a Fireproof Elixir then tells him about the failed battle against the Guardians that took place 100 years ago. Like himself, some of his kin were Hylian Soldiers; Nell recounts that he learned some of them fell during the decisive battle for Akkala Citadel. This prompted him to go there and pray for them. However, the presence of active Guardians has him stay clear of the former Citadel itself, since he's never heard of anyone escaping their sights.

Tears of the Kingdom

Despite the massive recruitment effort for warriors, Nell has been drawn to a different calling: the Zonai Survey Team. He finds himself stationed at Outskirt Stable surveying a floating island in the sky. His following dialogue differs depending on whether it's daytime or nighttime. He is referring to a floating island with Luminous Ore Deposits and his dialogue is a call-out to how they glow only at night, indicating that distinguishing them during the daytime would be challenging.

The Beckoning Woman

After completing the Potential Princess Sightings! quest, Penn appears at the Outskirt Stable and can be seen talking to Nell about some recent rumors. Nell speaks to Link about a recent strange experience he had. While standing near the debris at the three-way intersection, east of the stable, a woman came up to him asking him to help out another woman as her life was in danger. Although the woman who gave him this information, didn't reveal the identity of the woman in need. He describes the woman as giving off some strange vibes.

Nell followed the woman, but was not able to keep up and lost track of her. Penn wonders if this suspicious woman is the same woman that Link and Penn have been seeking out. Nell is confused as to why the woman was staring so closely at his hair.

Trivia

• Nell is one of only three Hylian Soldiers in Breath of the Wild, alongside Hoz and Savelle. In Tears of the Kingdom, he and Savelle have both joined the Zonai Survey Team, leaving Hoz as the only remaining Soldier from this trio.

In a real sense, the Kingdom of Hyrule met its doom here.

4. ↑ "Nell", But it turns out that the old Guardians are still active, so this is as far as I go. I've never heard of anyone else escaping a Guardian's sights, at least. You don't look reckless enough to chance it, but be on your guard in these hills all the same.
