"Restores your health and temporarily increases your maximum hearts. Using monster extract as a base, this soup's distinct gaminess is either loved or hated."

— In-Game Description

Hearty Monster Soup is a piece of food in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom that can be cooked using Monster Extract, Tabantha Wheat, Fresh Milk and Goat Butter with any "Hearty" Ingredient in a Cooking Pot, it will create Hearty Monster Soup. Eating this will fully restore your permanent hearts and temporarily increase your maximum hearts, the amount of temporary hearts depends on the type of hearty ingredient used.

Note that Monster Extract randomises the strength and duration of effects from dishes it is added to, along with the number of hearts recovered, so the results of the cooked dish can be unpredictable beforehand. As a dish with five ingredients, it cannot be further varied.

The same recipes without the Monster Extract make Hearty Milk (using a non-fish Hearty item only) or Hearty Seafood Meunière (using a Hearty Salmon or Hearty Bass only).
