Dodongo's Cavern is the second Dungeon in Ocarina of Time. Its entrance is blocked by a large boulder, forcing Link to obtain the Goron's Bracelet before entering.

The cave was blocked by Ganondorf after the leader of the Gorons, Darunia, refused to give the King of Evil the Spiritual Stone of Fire. Unfortunately, these events caused the Goron poulation to starve, due to the fact that the gourmet rocks present in the cavern were the primary source of a Goron's food.

The dungeon's item is the Bomb Bag, allowing Link to carry Bombs. The Mini-Boss consists of multiple Lizalfos, and the Boss is King Dodongo. Upon defeating King Dodongo and saving the Goron's from starvation, Link is awarded the Goron's Ruby from Darunia as well as a Heart Container that arises from the bosses remains.
