The Minish Cap
In The Minish Cap, cats roam in Hyrule Town. When Link is in his Minish form, the cats will attack him. There is a cat in the bridge which will fuse Kinstones with Link if he's in his Minish form.
Twilight Princess
In Twilight Princess, the cats' main purpose is to provide Link with hints whilst he is in Wolf Form. While in Human Form, they follow Link in groups and can be picked up and carried. There are two cats that play a part in the story: Telma's cat, Louise, and Sera's Cat, also named Link. Many cats can also be found at the Hidden Village. The Cucco Leader allows Link to play a game where he meets all of them.
