The Bottom of the Well is a mini-dungeon featured in Ocarina of Time as it were the prison of the evil shadow beast, Bongo Bongo until he escaped from it to settle himself in the Shadow Temple.
It is located in Kakariko Village where a story says that there was a man that could see the truth who lived at the exact same spot as the well is.
The Bottom of the Well is first visited by Child Link after he completed learning the Song of Storms as Adult and sunked the water in the well. When Link arrives the well, there are many secret passages Link can discover without the Lens of Truth. The main base and section of the well has a path that forms as a square.
