Bone Cuccos are skeletal chicken that have appeared in A Link to the Past.

A Link to the Past
Bone Cuccos are reanimated Cucco skeletons that can be found only in the Village of Outcasts in the Dark World. They behave the same as regular Cuccos in the Light World. If Link hit the Bone Cucco with his sword too many times, a Bone Cuccos "revenge squad" will appear to attack him. So, its just a good idea to not attack them. The best way to escape is to quickly enter a building, or go to the next screen.
