The Bird-Man Contest is a mini-game situated in the Flight Control Platform of the Great Sea. It is operated by Willi and Obli. Link can participate for a mere 10 Rupees. Link has to use the Deku Leaf to fly above the ocean and reach the banner that serves as the finish line. While on the fly, Link can bump into the windtwirls, which boosts Link's speed skyward, easily reaching farther to the banner. Once Link has reached the banner, he is prized with a Piece of Heart.
