Barrels are related to Jars and Boxes, as Link can smash or break all of them to collect small goodies such as bombs, arrows, Rupees, Recovery Hearts, Deku Nuts, Deku Sticks, and much, much more.
Locations
Barrels are scarcely found in just any house, building, or shop. In fact, barrels are usually only found in temples.
The Hotspot
Barrels -- and lots of them -- can be found in the Great Bay Temple in Majora's Mask. They are found in the central waterwheel room and in the first room, on opposite sides of the giant turtle. They can be smashed with a Fire Punch as Goron Link or a roll as normal Link.
